Cooking With Kids Recipe Contest

Who does number 2 work for???

So one day Mommy is surfing the internet and sees an ad on our local newspaper's website for the Certified Angus Beef Cooking With Kids Recipe Contest, taking place at the Great Northeast Home Show. On a whim she enters this pizza recipe that we like to cook together. And what do you know... we were selected as one of five finalists out of over 30 entries!
We had to prepare our dish and take it already cooked to the homeshow yesterday for judging. Nana and Pop Pop and Uncle Christian and Aunt Kiki came up to see me compete against 4 older boys for the big prize.
Great news... I came in SECOND!! I won some steak knives, $100 in meat coupons, a $50 price chopper card and a $25 Toys R Us card... plus a cool medal declaring my official "sous chef" status! It was so much fun and I can't wait to enter more contests!!

Depending on the day, my three fishies are named Julia, Michael, Gracie, Nana, Uncle Christian, Mommy and/or Daddy. I love feeding them and "playing" with them! And as you can see from these pics, we had a blast putting the tank together!
